Unrelated, quite a few system results updated. Would have done more today but cant as ts is down

Haven't taken in results yet, but likely the top system, of late is swingag101ES and a daily bar copper system which I have not got round to releasing yet.

I have been looking at using GSB in new ways
This is a system out of sample oct 2021. Its long only and trades 23 hours a day, 5.5 days a week.
Have spent a few days on this and learnt a bit. Likely this will end up being for sale. It also is equally good on ES data too.
It needs some additional tools in GSB to make such a system, as its got a little bit of non gsb code.

CRITICAL TS BUG, AFFECTING ALL VERSIONS OF TS, AND NUMEROUS SYSTEMS.


There is a critical bug in both ts 9.5 and ts 10. I have the same bug on two separate computers. 1 computers is ts 9.5, the other ts 10.
Im unsure how long this bug existed for & how many users are affected. I had one ts 9.5 that had correct session time on an old chart but wrong session on new chart opened. Bug must be generated buy ts back end, as ts 9.5 has not changed for a year or two

Note regular session now wrong is 23 hours a day, should be 830 to 1515
Systems affected, bounce GSBswingag101 and likely many others. Recommend you check all systems from all vendors. Leave AGswingag101 as is, but the system should still be long. We exited wrongly roughly at 11pm

done today, but the workspace that it applies to has not been done. Reason i didnt update workspace is its a minor optional change, and I dont have any ts 9.5 open.
If i save updated workspace in ts 10, then users with ts9.5 cant open it.

here is the change. It did not help other variants of pivot.
The change is to force a min allowed stop in points. My obersvation while trading pivot is some of the stops are really tight.

update on ts memory leak
This has been a major pain for years.
Happy to say I am now running 74 charts on ts (16 cores) but I need more cores as I have iblink and 3 copies of tws (interactive brokers software)
the months not even 1/2 over, but a great time for system trading overall
Unrelated, I saw GSBSSY1GC gold system on strikers web site. Thats a system I forgot about, but has very much revived.
GSBSWING60 series will soon be in the top tables too. It needs 6 months live track record before its release. I have been trading it since day 1, but took a few months to send it to striker

This has come to my attention. I had stopped trading this, but started it again.
Likely it would be a idea good to revisit making systems on Gold

Stop TS auto updates

Time to zoom out from the markets, and look at the bigger picture. Something I rarely do, but have been aware that NQ market has been the really hot one.
Here is weekly average true range * point value of the contract.
whats clear is gold is going up, and high, and nasdaq going up and twice the atr*point value of gold.
I see NQ still as the most lucrative market, but trading conditions have more risk to upside and downside right now.
Regardless if the market is going up or down medium term, there should be violent moves up and down.

Feedback from users is ts 10 build 80 is unstable. Im on ts 76. here is the installer file on ts 10 build 77, which i think is a good build

There are numerous ways to stop TS updating.
Alertmon / TMA users can tick this box.

Other users can run the batch file to delete TS update files, but this must be done EVERY TIME before you start TS


I have spend a very intense week or 2 researching the NQ market. It varies from really boring to exciting, trying , testing , refining. I learnt a lot

Tiny parameter change done today, and updated eld /workspace was not in the most recent pcloud file

small bug in reports. There is zero slippage in the combined reports of all these systems, but there is slippage in the indivual reports. Working on a fix

Note the out of sample proftits and draw-downs are much higher than the in sample.
This is the second system ever made by GSB. Sadly I stopped trading in some time back, but im doing two emini's on it now

I purchased these systems from Peter, and they are a perfect match for my other systems. I am trading a portfolio of 49 systems, and this year has been very good so far, with new highs every month. My GSB systems have contributed the most to my profits, particularly the NQ 23h long-only swing systems, which have performed very well.

The images below show the performance of my portfolio with and without the NQ short systems. As you can see, including these short systems in my portfolio reduces the drawdown from about 80,000 to 64,000, but even more importantly, it increases the NP/MaxDD from 99 to 145. In my opinion, that’s very impressive. Therefore, if you trade the indexes with long or long/short systems, you should consider purchasing these systems.

Ive had a number of people ask me if Im trading during the USA elections.



IM a system trader and I will always trade, even during news announcements. IE fomc etc.
I spent a lot of time on financial news announcement date code, but still missed one day so end up trading that day.
With out exaggeration, from memory the wins that day were likely the largest ever in 20+ years of trading So I killed the idea.
You will tend to have high chance of getting stopped, and high chance of big wins.
2 elections ago, i was long quite a number of eminis on long term systems. then a limit move down.
I manually added some contracts at limit move down price.
Ended up well, but my entire net worth varied a lot that day.
My observation is that traders who are really aggressive with leverage do not survive long term


In a month or so, I hope to have short only systems, that are very different to the ones I released a few months ago.
This last series was very different in that it entered on a cross of a filter, and any indicator being<0
Normal GSB systems enter short when filter(s) are <0 and indicators cross under zero

I may also have some non GSB systems in the pipeline, but too early to tell for sure.

Another election day I wont forget (big wins) and the election results are not in yet. Not sure if I said I think seasonal tend to be long this time of year.
Very excited to say I have a new NQ / ES system thats totally different to anything else I have had.
Same parameters on NQ / ES since beginning of when the contract data starts.
Shown here is version 1.00 of the system with no changes since release.
Shown later will be version 1.01 which has stop, profit target and one exit mode removed

I dont normally post trades of big wins, as it can be perceived as marketing hype. IE I made xyz$ on my first trade. One day for good or bad shouldn't matter long term
