GSB purchase & licensing questions
GSB Licensing questions.
GSB is licensed per physical computer. You can run as many managers / standalone's / workers as you desire.
Licenses can be moved to another PC should you upgrade to a new PC / Server.
Additional licenses are $400 each, or $300 when you purchase GSB.
GSB by default will not run on a virtual machine. If you need this done, please contact support. VM's tend to have poor CPU availability, so not highly recommended.
A GSB licenses enabled you to run GSB forever. However updates are for one year from purchase. If software maintenance is not bought after one year, you may use the last version that was released at your maintenance expiry date.
The private forum is also available for GSB purchases for the first year after a purchase, and GSB users with active software maintenance.
Maintenance cost is $200 per year for the first GSB licenses, and $50 per additional license. The logic behind maintenance is it makes an incentive to improve GSB, and pay for ongoing support.
Terms and conditions of maintenance may be subject to change.
Please do not buy GSB without using the 14 day trial version first. There is no option to refund once you have bought GSB and have private forum access.
EWO and PA & GSB automation have free trials too. System sales have no trial and can't be refund once they are bought. All systems sales are unlocked code.

Software License Agreement.
This legal document is an agreement between you, the end user ('User'), and Zwag Family Trust , 7 Ceduna Close Wantirna South, Melbourne Victoria , Australia ('Author').
AGREEMENT - By installing GSB ('Software'), copying the Software and/or clicking on the 'I Agree' button during installation, you agree to all of the terms of this software license agreement ('Agreement').
If you do not agree with all of the terms of this agreement, click on the 'I Do Not Agree' button and/or do not install, copy or otherwise use the software.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. The Software and any associated materials are protected by copyright law. The package is a proprietary product of the Author.
The Author retains title to and ownership in the copyright of the software program and the associated materials.
You acknowledge that the Author owns all rights, title and interest in and to the Software, including without limitation all Intellectual Property Rights.
'Intellectual Property Rights' means any and all rights existing from time to time under patent law, copyright law, trade secret law, trademark law, unfair competition law, and any and all other proprietary rights, and any and all applications,
renewals, extensions and restorations thereof, now or hereafter in force and effect worldwide.
You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, DE-compile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Software.
Trading systems produced by the User are the property of the User, and not the Author. All Tradestation and MultiCharts code is fully open code.
GRANT. Author hereby grants you a 14 day trial, then a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software upon payment of the License Fee and 1 years free updates from date of purchase. After 1 year the User my choose to purchase updates to the software.
There will be an optional maintenance fee after 1 year to get updates of the GSB program. For purchasers in 2018 onwards, this is $200 per year. This fee may be subject to change. If you purchase GSB, you are entitled to use GSB indefinitely regardless it this fee has been paid. If you do not purchase updates you are entitled to the version of GSB 1 year from when you purchased GSB. maintenance for additional GSB licenses is $50 per additional license.
The Author makes no guarantee of the frequency, value, applicability or content of future updates or modifications to the Software. The Software will only be made available to you in electronic form for download.
The requirement to pay a license fee does not apply to evaluation copies for which Author does not charge a license fee. Evaluation licenses expire 14 calendar days from the date of this agreement, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Author. On the date of expiry of the license, User agrees to either purchase the Software at the list price in force at that time or to destroy all copies of the Software in electronic or other form, including any copies on backup tapes, the cloud or other media.
Access to the private forum will only be for GSB purchasers for 1 year after the initial purchase, or who have purchased software updates.
Because GSB has a 14 day obligation free trial, all sales of GSB are final & not refundable.
User's use of the Software shall be limited to use on a single hardware chassis, on a single central processing unit, as applicable, or use on such greater number of chassis or central processing units as User may have paid the required license fee. Multiple copies of GSB may be run on the same hardware chassis. The use of the software on a virtual machine is not supported unless arranged before hand by the Author.
You may not: permit other individuals to use the Software except under the terms listed above; translate, reverse engineer, de-compile, DE-crypt, reverse engineer, disassemble (except to the extent applicable laws specifically prohibit such restriction), or create derivative works based on the Software; copy the Software (except for back-up purposes); rent, lease, transfer, assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer rights to the Software; or remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Software.
The Author indemnifies and shall defend and hold harmless User, its parent companies and its and their subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and subcontractors from and against all liability, damages, loss, cost or expense, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, arising out of or in connection with any breach or alleged breach of the Agreement or any third party claims that the software or system here provided by The Author infringes or otherwise violates any rights of any such third party.
User hereby indemnifies and shall defend and hold harmless The Author , its and their subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and subcontractors from and against all liability, damages, loss, cost or expense, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, arising out of or in connection with any third party claims that Users use of the software in contravention of the grant of rights infringes or otherwise violates any rights of any such third party.
Upon the assertion of any claim or the commencement of any suit or proceeding against an indemnitee by any third party that may give rise to liability of an indemnitor here under, the indemnitee shall promptly notify the indemnitor of the existence of such a claim and shall give the indemnitor reasonable opportunity to defend and to settle the claim at its own expense
and with counsel of its own selection. The indemnitee shall cooperate with the indemnitor, shall at all times have the right full to participate in such a defense at its own expense and shall not be obligated, against its consent, to participate in any settlement which it reasonably believes would have an adverse effect on its business.

You agree to use this program at your own risk.
The Author's software might fail or not work properly. All software
is subject to inadvertent programming errors and bugs embedded in
the code comprising that software. Any of these errors and bugs can
cause the software in which they are located to fail or not work
properly. The application and trading strategies generated
by the program is subject to this risk. Despite testing, inadvertent
errors and bugs may still cause a failure in trading strategy,
resulting in a trading errors.
Although every attempt has been made to ensure accuracy, the author
does not give any expressed or implied warranty as to its accuracy.
The author does not accept any liability for error or omission.
All examples are provided for illustrative purposes only and should
not be construed as investment advice.
YOU HAVE TO BE AWARE THAT TRADING STRATEGIES MIGHT FAIL FOR WHATEVER REASON AND THEY COULD RESULT IN THE LOSS OF ALL OF THE MONEY YOU HAVE DEPOSITED IN THE BROKERAGE ACCOUNT YOU USE FOR LIVE TRADING BASED ON THE ALGORITHMS YOU GENERATED.

YOU USE ANY ALGORITHM IN LIVE TRADING AT YOUR OWN RISK AND IT IS YOUR OBLIGATION TO THOROUGHLY AND APPROPRIATELY TEST ANY TRADING ALGORITHM BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN PRODUCTION AND TO CONTINUALLY MONITOR THE OPERATION OF ANY TRADING ALGORITHM IN PRODUCTION TO ENSURE IT IS RUNNING PROPERLY AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH ANY APPLICABLE RULES.

License. Upon termination, User is obligated to immediately destroy the software, including all copies and modifications.
