EMAIL.

server is the mail server used. This can be left on default.

if no reply is ticked, email comes from noreply@trademaid.info

Recipient is your email address to receive alarms, Multiple can be used.

IE yourname@gmail.com;pager@alerms.com

Max Limit.

Shown here is a max of 20 emails can be sent in 60 minutes. This is to avoid flooding your inbox with alarms

Additional alarms will not be send until the 60 minutes is over.

SMS

Twilio settings are shown here.

You can use two separate telephone numbers for SMS alerts, with the option to schedule them.

Shown here there is a limit of 5 SMS per 60 minutes.

If >1 SMS occur within 10 seconds, the content is added into one SMS, but truncated if its too long

SAVE & TEST

Be sure to save the settings, and test that that work.

PING

Alertmon pings multiple address's to detect if the VM is down. SHould the internet be down, alerTmon has no way of letting anyone know there is a problem.

For this reason Alertmon also sends a signal to Trademaid monitoring server. This can be programmed to give SMS / email alarms when an outrage is detected.

TRIGGER.
