MoveSessionTime&BarInterval
GSB Automation can move the bar interval multiplier
For example if we have data on 1 minute bar, if we change the mutiliper from 30 to 29 minutes.
If we had a session start time on @NQ of 800, this would give us 15 bars.
14*30 = 420 minutes.
14*29 = 406 minutes.
The last bar would be 15 minutes long if we have 800 to 1500 session time with 29 minute bars.
To fix this issue we could use session time of 814 to 1500 with our 29 minute bars.
Then all bars will be 29 minutes long.
to do this, follow this procedure.
i) Create the session time(s) needed.
Recommend but optional.
Change the start time to roughly avoid the first 1/2 hour of data. Previous testing gave a mild improvement doing this.
In GSB Automation, add the bar interval(s) you need.
Do not use bars under 5 minutes. The reason is it works poorly, and will cause ram use-age on GSB workers to blow out and cause worker crashes.
THen add the session time(s) linked to the bar interval(s) you want to try.
Then follow these steps.
This will give the following results. (more sessions / times populated than just 29 min bars.
