Bounce with some other variants is now ready for purchase
https://trademaid.info/gsbhelp/BounceES-NQ-DAX-RUS-DOW.html
Apologies for the delay. A great deal of work went into this, let alone building the system before the days of Genetic System builders were in use.
The system is not cheap, but there is a substantial discount in price till 15 July 2023

@goodoboy
Sorry but its not in NT and wont be for at least a few months.
Selling systems is lower priority for programmers than GSB features and very much GSB NT needed improvements.

ts 10 build 69 installed now for non beta testers. As I consider this build much worse that the last one (which I also find has bad memory leaks) how to we revert back to 68?
It doesnt even give options to cancel the update
One good thing about this build 69 is it has xml export of performance reports again :) but not html :(
The registry hack I published to stop ts updates also failed to work

Hi Peter,

Here is what I use to stop TS from updating. It is a tiny .bat file, which I call TradeStation - No Updates.bat. (you can name it anything you want) The key is to ALWAYS open TS with this, and not to use any of the regular methods of opening it. I just keep a shortcut to it on my desktop, and click on it to open TS.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
echo on
dir "C:\ProgramData\TradeStation Technologies\TradeStation\Versions\10.00.00\Patches"
del /q "C:\ProgramData\TradeStation Technologies\TradeStation\Versions\10.00.00\Patches"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\TradeStation 10.0\Program\ORPlat.exe"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Finally, to get back to build 68, just call TS tech support. They will send you a link to a .msp file that will let you install the version you want. It would be best if you know the version you want, but that's not required. For example, I'm on version 10.00.05.1161, which is part of build 69. It sounds like you want something before that.

I agree that the way TS does the updates is a real pain - I don't know anyone who likes it.

@goodoboy, there is thank button you can hit, which means you can thank someone (always nice thank you) and it means users subscribed to the post dont get updates when there is no action for them to act on.

Peter, if you're seeing the Update Manager screen, that means you are on beta, unless something has changed very recently. And with Update Manager, you always have the ability to roll back.

Now, it's possible that TS has added that functionality to regular TS upgrades, but if so, that's a change. Anyhow, glad you have a way to do the rollback, and once you find a version you are happy with, that .bat file I posted will lock it in for you, and prevent automatic upgrades.

@tradertom, ive added your batch file delete into my tskill.bat file which I run before ts opens in a script. Most happy with how it works.
I wasnt aware that the login I have was beta (though I have another beta login)
On the forum it said the build 69 had added the rollback option

A few things
TS Version 10, Update 69 is completing its rollout today.

They have made quite a few changes in this version, and TS said update should eliminate the memory and memory leak issues that many people have had.

My own experience is that this build is significantly worse than build 68. Please give me feedback.

Bounce system on special expires midnight 15 July 2023

I'm on update 69, but only on build 1161. I found things were going south with the more recent build versions. It could well be that update 68 is even better, I'm not sure. The main issue I notice now with 1161 is that it sometimes disconnects or re-starts for no apparent reason, which is disconcerting.

@Tradertom,
I will try 69 again, but on defaults it was less stable. I want to try the last option next time. Would love some recommendations from TS or other users
What I suspect is one of the 'fixs' (bug cover up) is to reduce processes when loading all your charts when you start up.
I have a macro that opens one chart at a time. While thats a good idea, this in itself doesnt fix the stability issues for me

I don't think there are any easy answers here, because the problem manifests itself differently to different users. One thing that can help, but only if you have a lot of charts open at one time, is to reduce the amount of trades shown on each chart, to some minimum number. That reduces memory usage and the likelihood of crashes, sometimes. But if you don't have a lot of charts open, it doesn't make much difference. I'm usually trading with 40 charts or so, so it helps in my case. But it doesn't solve all the issues, unfortunately.
