Overnight ES
Track record as of today. (its currently in an open position)
Profit $7612.50 less brokerage
Built 2020 Sep 23 by Peter Zwag. This is a non-GSB system. Built by a human, not a computer.
System logic
The system has after hours entry and exits trades at the close of the day session.
The system will enter an oversold market.
No trades are held over Friday night, but entries can occur Sunday evening.
Only long trades are taken. Trades are always < 24 hours long.
This means a stop that can be converted to a market order is active at all times, with the rare exception of ½ trading days.
Stop loss is $1850 per Emini contract or $185 per micro contract

Im not primarily in the business of selling systems, but quite a number of users persistently keep asking me.
I didn't want to release this till there was a track record

a few comments.
I emailed most users, but Zonetrade on micros must have data2 and data3 as micros, not emini.
Failure to do this will give significant degradation in results.

The bug is related to SessionEndTime and SessionStartTime giving the wrong time.

stop should have been 100, not 50. Please update your code

It has extra filters added April 2020 and options to change contracts, auto detect for emini / micro
16 months after the extra filters were added, here is the results on both.
Note the system made a killing in march 2020, but thats not on this graph

When I sell a system, I often try and add some extra value that the novice trader cant do.
So it could be extra filters, a lot of work in getting more ideal parameters etc.
So its good see that extra work paid off. These filters were manually added in RC2dax many years ago.
RC2 was the first system made of what came before GSB. It was a crude, difficult to use command line based predecessor to GSB
GBSsys1ES is the first system the current GSB made. April 25 2017 For those who have been with me since the beginning, GSB is now so much more powerful, and the ES/YM/NQ systems are quite different
Version 1.3 requires you to have filled out an NDA. Many users have already done this, so no need to do again if this is the case.

There is a data correction which caused my overnight es to wrongly enter. you should be flat

A few comments, likely all gold systems can pyramid. This was pointed out to me by a user some time back.
With zero slippage, shown is the results of gsbsys1b with and without pyramiding. Note however that correlation of loosing trades does increase if pyramiding is turned on.
GSBsys1es is out of sample in 2019, but im just showing the last years results

Next system I release is GSBGC4.
Here are the results of the previous 2 GC systems released since dec 16 2020 and today. (out of sample was this date or before)

Gold continues to give great results out of sample.

Now the weekend gap can make it better or worse. But long term looking at many systems for many years it seems its not better to stop intraday-systems on halfdays.

All is easy in hindsight imho one of the reasons not to trade half days, is execution errors and operational issues that comes along with this half day handling. Some half days will be good to miss, some like this Friday was brutal to miss. But that's just part of the game. So taking a decision on how to operate based on last Friday alone is a less wise decision. I think also the fact that you go in with same risk, but only allow half the time for the trade to play out in your direction, is less good.

I would say 26% annual gain on your capital is quite good, do that for 20 years consistent and you will end up in a book somehwere.

What is your expectation of your own portfolio gain per year ?

But as Peter says, you can easily get that to 260% per year by changing the account $ value if thats is what you like.

I tried intraday on gbtc
This is the oos with zero slippage (slippage is low) and a $6000 position size. Seems to have worked but gbtc was not the ideal session time. Its only 830 to 1500
Ive traded this since aug 1 2021
I did document gbtc, but found a not the easiest of markets, but still achievable.
The swing systems likely do better. Caught most of the long term move down

Unlreated. Midcapt 400 is not a liquid market and slippage a bit high.
This is my oldest system (Pre GSB)
Trades es emd, dax russell 2000.
The emd was best out of sample, but others all good. Though I cant tell on russell 2000 as I need non delayed data to bring the chart up.
The system made a $6200 trade in the last week. Thats reflective of how good trading conditions are. The over night version of this had a $1790 profit target.
System has never been re-optimized, but the stop & stop logic I have varied a little over time. (its not critical regardless)
The point im making is we are in very good day trading conditions

I will be releasing a Nat Gas futures day trading system shortly.
This is what a fairly big move on NG trading 4 systems on emini (1 contract on each) and a fairly choppy day on the ES / NQ

Micro can also be traded, but its 1/4 the size, not 1/10
