results on Gold systems updated. Im terminating GC4 systems. If systems go into a big draw-down I reduce the amount of contracts on them. No one I
know claims to have got how best to this right.
My logic is if you totally kill a system, you miss on on dd and recovery. Even brilliant systems like GSB sys1.x ES had bigger dd out of sample than
in sample. GSBsys1 was nice that the out of sample results were way better than in sample.
I put this down to market conditions being so good.

Updated correlation map of all ES NQ systems
I like all versions of GSBsys1verX though like 2.5 the best of the ES systems
As correlation is fairly high on this, best treat as one system and spread your contracts over it.

@jfs1976, long term most / all the systems will be exported to NT. Right now I think its GSBsys1.xES and one of the gsbfltNQ systems.
There may be a few more, but I will chase the programmer concerned

Most of the GSB systems are now at the usual brokers for those who wish to not trade by themselves.
Just a reminder, GSBsys1v2nq price will go up to $500 sunday night
Strongly recommend all GSBsys21v1-v2 uses also get v3
Hopefully most of you are at new highs on your account now.
Been a great season for trading.
There are a few more systems I my launch in time, but TS memory leak has taken most of my energy in the last week
so little time for much else

yes, biggest win was on nq = $454 per micro, but on a system that didnt get release. Awesome time to be trading.

There is a small bug fix in GSBsys1v2nq. Daily max loss code was not correct
Two trades were entered on 20th of october.
The new eld is the same name, the url in pcloud the same, but the entry will now say GSBSYS2.01
Unrelated
As soon as time permits, GSBsys1v2-15 min will be released
this is an optional paid upgrade. Its running on 15 minute bars, so can enter at differnt times to the 30 min versions.

Sometimes the original pcloud url is updated, which I will try to do more often.
Other times its a new url
By updated, I mean the results were updated, not the elds. Though there have been a number of eld updates in the last few months with more coming. IE
adding in option to exclude a 1/2 trading day.

IN time all systems will have holiday1 and holiday2 dates to stop trading on 1/2 trading days.
Future systems should have this.
Im more reluctant to included exclusion of FED interest rates days as the interest rate announcements on 30 November was the most profitable day I
have had in 22 years of trading.
Perhaps a hybrid approach to reduce contracts on these days.
Open to ideas. Interestingly the 30 Nov was not in the table of fed announcement days I had anyway.
onto execution issues.
Peoples experience of ts10 ranges from really good to danging.
With 40 or so charts, I got to just after 830 am before TS crashed for the first time in the day. After the second crash of the day I went back to
9.5
I was on build 54 I think, not the latest.
Other users with small amount of charts were ok. What im interest in is does TS10 have the memory leak?
Would like to hear from users on this.

A lot of people for example were unhappy that the xml export feature was removed in the latest TS build. Hence the desire to stay on one build.
I see TS10 as a cosmetic change of TS9.5, with additional object oriented code features I don't need. All I want out of TS is 64 bit and more
stability.

You could use a dynamic contract allocation model, which is tied to the move/volatility.
Risk same amount of money on every move. I know there is a fix stop loss. But that is per contract and points - it will not help if we have a sudden
jump in the price.
Determining the contract size based on the previous move/range could smoothen the risk. I would use setstopposition (and not setstopcotract) and
adjust the nr. contract based on last X bar range.
Also I believe you should ban entries before the news - especially CPI, unemployment -, and resume on the next bar after. At least I do that - but
thats just my personal preference.
Because velocity bands are very very active lately on CME and you dont want to be catch on the wrong side when they are activated.

30 november many of my entries were before the big move. +9k per nq contract. Would have been very sad to miss that.
I know we cant base our decisions on one day, but that was one of the biggest moves I have ever seen, and many systems caught it

Update to GSBSYS1v2.03NQ
Same pcloud link as what you got when system was sent.
Version 2.03 December 15 2022 Limit trades once per day, add holiday (1/2 trading day inputs),
put atr exit back. It MIGHT have been removed from earlier code by mistake to speed up optimization
Dont trade on Fed day added. Beware the fed day function may get changed over time
Limit trades once per day.
