next build
correlation of each system draw down to overall draw down curve
as you can see, TF10es/nq day trade system makes little difference to draw down of 6 other longer term systems
In practice I am doing eminis on tf10es/nq and micros on the long term systems - which would show a more balanced view of systems contributing to dd ,
but regardless this shows the idea.
also you can move systems up and down in the first page where they are selected

this is close to what I am trading
1 emini on each day trading and 2 micros on the 23 hour swing systems
note how the tfes affects DD least. I would put this down to it being a different market than all the other NQ systems

A reminder, if you have pa pro under c:\programfiles.. folder (not c:\papro) you must run PA pro as windows administrator to get the new update.
If not it will be in a constant loop

There is a warning message (bug) in pa that took effect today saying the code is too old.
Just hit ok and it will continue. I will get a fix for this in < 24 hours and hopefully push it out via auto update when pa loads.
Will also get a new installer on my web site

Next build of pa, has the option to choose the amount of generations / population / children
Over simplified, but the amount of combinations is 2^(number of systems)
so when your doing massive amount of combinations, it takes too long. You can reduce parameters here, but note of course then its a less accurate
final solution.
Other options to reduce combinations is to reduce the amount of contracts / systems allowed. There are numerous fields for this.
If anyone wants the pre-release build let me know.
Current build works fine, but im hoping to add a max time limit option.
Particle swarm also has similar options

Pa build 20230827.1 released via auto update
2024 August 27
Significant speed improvements in auto portfolio generation. The default is now brute force if <100 systems combinations are used, else genetic
algorithms.
Genetic algorithm (see below picture) now has the option to end processing if no improvements after X (10) generations. Max time of processing can
also be set, or manually end processing and you will get the best combination found so far.
Other small tweaks too. Adjustable thresholds on correlation. Tweaks to market performance. Added wheat contract in symbols.
Added linked labels in portfolio selection.

there is an error saying pa is too old, please update. This error message should not be appearing.
Im woking on the fix,but the current update is not working. I hope to fix this in < 24 hours
Regardless, updates need to be run with windows administrator permissions to work.

@zdnekt. I wasnt aware of an issue but now that you mention if ive had 2 users request rego reset.
Ive revoked your licence so you can reuse it. If you can email me the screen shot of what you see, let me know.
Rego info is no longer in the update file, so this wont happen for other users. I need to look into this issue more but travling till thursday.

Yesterdays build of Pa pro now supports MSA format of files. (Adaptrade market system analyzer). Only requirement is file must end with .msa
If needed I could add an option to allow .csv, but I omitted that as it will lead users to think any csv file could be imported
Unzip then put these files in c:\papro\ (need to be over written.)

After updating to 20251103.1 I get error message that some files cannot be imported because Pyramiding is not supported, even though these files do
not use pyramiding.

send me one of the files, and if you can the xml report from the same system.Please zip them up as they compress really well and often would be to big
to email otherwise
