I get a virus warning when i download the trial version
when i downloaded the most recent trial version my computer said it moved the file to Quarantine b/c it was infected with Win32:maleware-gen.
I wanted to check to see if this file from the forum may somehow got infected with malware or if this is a normal warning when down loading this file.

I get the message too with avast. I did another identical build but excluded vix.1minute data and avast said no virus.
Tried to submit to avast but they have a 50 mg file limit. Very UN-inspiring.
Best you excluded c:\gsb from your av.
You can double check any program via virustotal.com. Gsb normally gets a few out of the 70 or so virus engines.
I will upload a new version shortly, but its more that the file is a differnt signature may help.
For beta users I also provide with no installer file. That causes less virus isssues

THis post talks about this a fair bit, but no complaints for some time.
Im going to post a new version for trial users, but its best just to disable your av for c:\gsb

Mate, I used to get that problem in the past but not anymore. I update my GSB whenever new versions are released, including the more frequent beta
releases available to full licence users.
I whitelist the installer .exe file first in my Internet Security application, then install, then I whitelist the program .exe files. If there is no
installer .exe I unzip the new program .exe files and just whitelist them, after putting them in the correct GSB directory. No longer having problems
with Antivirus / malware / internet security application errors.
Good luck.
