Hello Peter,

Is GSBsys3NQ correlated to the other NQ systems you sell?

May I please request the Portfolio Analyst Cloud file for GSBsys3NQ to check correlation and diversification please?

Thank you,

Time settings in Alertmon

Sorry in advance if there’s a more appropriate topic to post under for Alertmon.

I’m setting cash session times for systems and ChartOpen lines but every time I reopen Alertmon the times are reset to incorrect values even if I save my settings, so I’m getting alarms for some systems outside of market hours.

What can I do to make Alertmon correctly auto detect the session times for systems?

@cheessman
The likely reason for this is the chart was setup initally with the wrong session time
ie 830 to 1515, instead of 830 to 1500
alertmon tma saves this wrong session time and gives you alarms just past 1500
Even though you correct the time, alertmon default is to never update session time info.
The default is changed to always update in the most receent verion of tma

Change this to true

For NT
GSBsys1.3 to 1.5
GSBSYSTF4NQ and es being worked on
GSBsys3NQ
Conversion of more systems has paused as the NT programmer is working on miss-match issues with gsb to ts/mc/nt

GSB SYSFLT4NQ/ES are ready for NT
There is a bit of degradation compared to TS as NT doesnt support up/down volume, but its not critical

Just an update for the week.
Ive spent a lot of time making ts the ability to delete cache, open workspaces, let data come in, close ts and open ts workspaces in an automated way. Its 60% finished.
This is also going to be a good coverup bug fix for the ts memory leak. This will be included in the trademaid automation / vm service

A lot of work has been done on getting ts to match gsb, and even the non critical rounding errors are greatly improved.
Im also getting a custom built windiff/beyond compare file compare to very quickly find any indicators that dont match.
Usijng windiff with 100+++ indicators at one time is painful, and doing just a few at at time is too time consuming.
Next build will have some more match fixes and update to gsb_norm4 ->gsb_norm5 which will improve rounding errors.

Also planning on getting gsb automation to change bar interval linked with session time. so you could test 830 to 1500 30 min bars, and 843 to 1500 29 minute bars. so all bars still 30 minutes
The recent gsb automation option to test bar intervals looked very worthwhile doing.

Sounds awesome Peter with all the new updates. In regards to "bar interval" could you kindly explain in detail of the steps in AU to setup such a test ? I cant get my head around how to set this test up and to properly understand the test.

There are updates here that all uses should read, and a small amount of it applies also to MC users
https://trademaid.info/gsbhelp/Tradestationbestpracticeandfi...

basically what has to be done after a 1/2 trading day for TS / MC users and a few other things.
recent updates are in cyan.
