Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could
potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without
jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only
those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of
future results

At long last, TF is close.
Tertiary filter ts/mc code has been done, but not tested it all.
I dont think TF will be useful however till we populate tf with pattern filters etc.
That however is a small task compared to making the first TF

Be careful. TF settings for some users is set to 2. This wont build systems.

Just an update whats been happening.
GSB automation has had bug fixes, and we are working on adding TF and entry types too it.
Alertmon - part of the software to improve execution errors is progressing, but slowly.
GSB TF is progressing,
More hours are done by programmers at the moment, hence my silence on the forum.
Just a note, seasonal trends could lead to market retracement.
Im working on crm / email out software which is really complex.
I dont want to hassle people, but also want to share things of interest to people.
Trading VM service is running, but just doing a few test users for now.

Busy here with NG since a few month back, which i think a few of us are working on... btw Alertmon, what is the plan with this?

Btw, very good day for ES today, all systems triggered.. been very slow for ES for some time, so this was nice.

Looking forward testing TF..

Cheers

alertmon will be part of the VM service. Will detect all sort of execution issues.

My post was timely. Said market retracement was due. Absolute ripper of a day.

I thought alertmon would be available as standalone? i run dedicated servers for production and would like something like this.

Cheers

It can run standalone, but need to think though if its released that way. Im going to test on the VM users first. It also depends on how much support users need.
A good problem im having, is drowning in opportunity. FOr example I could release IBlink, but if so massive task to document such a powerful and complex product

Would be great if GSB can support MultiCharts.NET as well.

I know it's a stretch, but Python would be a huge value add as well.

I would whole heartedly support this!

Would be nice to get on a real programming language. I have more faith in Multicharts' system management than I do Ninjatrader. Ninjatrader has always been a bit flaky for me when it comes to running a bunch of systems. Multicharts' PortfolioManager is very nice and I hear getting even better in version 14.

Agree about MultiCharts strategy management being very good.
I've been running MC Beta v14 (the regular version running ELD code, not the .NET version) live for several months, and its strategy management and monitoring is so much better than Ninja or Tradestation.
I never had much luck with Ninja, strategies kept getting disconnected from charts and other issues.
MC seems rock solid, I presume the .NET version would be the same but have not used it.

Same experience for me with Ninja and strategies.

Great to hear that MC v14 is solid. I've not yet been brave enough to try it.

A few months back I did an eval of MC.Net and found it to be equal across the board to the standard MC in features and user interface. No differences that I could see other than the underlying code differences. They allow you to switch platforms for $100 fee as I remember.

I spent a day or two trying to port the GSB Ninjatrader libraries to MC and made some decent headway although there is some work to do there. Mostly in understanding the .Net vocabulary that MC uses vs. Ninja.

Good change this and or python might happen, but its years away. There is so much to be done first. If I took this on, then GSB development would stall for a very long time.
Many of the issues would be just getting things to match, though mc c# should be less of an issue. TS to MC was full of the most obscure quirks and bugs that are not apparent in normal usage

You need a macro to add the top 250 systems into favorites.
Ive made one here.
it is critical the dates on the system are back to whatever was used to build the system
before you run the macro

Hi peter
When you do the WFO of the systems in GSB, do you optimize all the parameters of the system? (inputs)
