Next release will be bug fixes, inc fix of exports of GSB code to MC .pla files and the new fitness functions.
AI project is working but systems produced need improving in quality before I open up beta users. Good news is the portal front end is working, and
every systems I have made compiles perfectly in TS

Updates for the week
Bug fixes, and working on implementing features build by the AI platform back into GSB.
The AI platform is progressing, but much slower than anticipated.
This week its faster and more efficient in AI tokens - but still very slow compared to GSB
Im working on an improve system (as well as the build system) option,
moving my private library of systems and IP into the engine.
Technically the product works. It produces systems that are tested before release to compile into TS. The big weakness is the systems are poor. Hence
my need to import my existing IP
this is what the user interface looks like.

Spent much of the week building a system found by my AI research back into GSB. System was very different to a GSB system to a lot of work. Still more
work to do, but here is results of one system I choose, and new features in GSB.
Work on AI project still continues, working on getting my private library into AI, so see how it will affect results of systems built

Hi Peter,
I'm not sure if this is the right section for my question – if not, please feel free to move it.
I'm using the TwoAverageFcCompare filter on Data2 (daily NQ) with Force-Use enabled. Two questions:
1. Where can I set the fast/slow average lengths for this filter? I set AverageFc to 50/100/150/200 in Custom Indicator Parameters, but the exported
code uses lengths like 4/72, 8/24 or 16/124.
2. Is it possible to apply the filter to entries only? Currently the long signal exit also requires tf1Decision = -1, so signal exits are blocked
while the filter shows an uptrend.
Thanks.

@JozefSusko
1. Fast/slow lengths
open Custom Filter Parameters, select TwoAverageFcCompare, and enter the pairs there, e.g. 50,100, 50,150 and 100,200. These are fast/slow pairs and
must have fast < slow. Re-run the optimization afterwards, because systems already found keep their old lengths. Setting AverageFc under Indicator
Parameters has no effect on this filter.
Both of your observations are correct. Here is what's happening.
1. Fast/slow lengths
AverageFc under Custom Indicator Parameters only affects the AverageFc indicator. TwoAverageFcCompare is a filter, so its lengths come from Custom
Filter Parameters. Until you set them there, GSB uses its built-in default grid (fast 2–20, slow 14–200, fast < slow). That's why you see pairs like
4/72, 8/24 and 16/124.
To fix it:
- Open Custom Filter Parameters, select TwoAverageFcCompare, and enter the fast/slow pairs you want, e.g. 50/100, 50/150, 50/200, 100/150, 100/200 and
150/200. Each pair needs fast < slow.
- Re-run the optimization. Systems you've already found keep their old lengths.
2. Applying the filter to entries only
There's currently no setting for this. A Force-Use filter is added to both the long and the short entry conditions. A long position is normally closed
by the opposite signal, which is the short entry. That signal also needs the filter (tf1Decision = -1), so the long can't exit while the filter shows
an uptrend.
Your explicit exits (stop loss, profit target and Decision Exit modes) don't check the filter, so they still work. For now, rely on those exits
instead of the opposite-signal exit.
if you build a system that has promise, then remove the filter exit mode, and it give better results, I will add the feature to GSB
best to put this sort of question under general support. https://trademaid.info/forum/viewthread.php?tid=229

77.52 is the latest version available to me, and I can’t find a “Custom Filter Parameters” option there. In the Edit Filters Collection window,
TwoAverageFcCompare only has Enabled, Force-Use and DataN – there is no place to enter my own fast/slow lengths. Am I missing something, or is there
another way to set the lengths?

77.87 released. Old workers will not work with new workers, so manager and worker needs to be updated. My cloud has also been updated
if any one is interested in the newer adx breakout systems, let me know I can send settings. Out os sample on them seems good but not much testing
done
I just did some quick system building, here are a few. unseen data was 1/1/2025
