Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could
potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without
jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only
those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of
future results

Hi Patzy,

I understand what you wrote about the TS forum. I did not
appreciate the comments from a few readers who obviously
were not interested in communicating and their participation in forums like this is unfortunate.

You may have seen the table I inserted with my last TS response, and I hope that you can help me matching the sequence numbers with letter codes.

Thanks for your help. I have been trying to get a safe trading
strategy, meaning one with a limited controllable drawdown to replace the bad trades from recent strategy designs I have.

I did focus over the last 24 hours on a version of the strategy that starts on 9/11/2017 and your table will help me further
along.

Thanks again for helping me with this effort.

Hi Buttons,
UserCha2014 (ts forums) is on holiday, hence may not be free to respond. To make things simpler for non GSB users, he changed code - which makes it harder for me.
I will send you an email with more details. Its not wise for me to publish his code with out permission, though will be surprised if he didn't allow this.

Hi Petzy,

I found only long trades when I execute the strategy, it that to be expected? If not, where do I change the Cha2014 code to create only trading signals for short trades?

Can you post the code so we can see what systems you are looking at. TS can be made to only trade long or short or both. Right click the chart and do format strategies.

Hi buttons1,

The Cha2014 strategy from the Tradestation forum gives both long & short signals.

I think it is only meant as an example. This strategy has a reasonable quality.

Better qualtity strategies are possible with the most recent GSB version.

Did you do the GSB 14 days free trial yet?

Carl
