A way of using a TS in Interactive Brokers is to pass through ProRealTime
The language is very similar to TSt and the call center of PRT says that can translate free form TSt to PRT.
is possible now,or will be in future, use TS of GSB in ProRealTime ?
thanks
Guido

I have used, and still use ProRealTime, for some easier strategies. It has a very nice GUI and you get a sort of free VPC to run strategies even if
you are offline.
But.
PRT have an automatic module that is called ProOrder. That is the module you use if you want to automate your trading in PRT. But ProOrder doesn't
support multiple timeframes or multiple instruments. (The manual scanner function in PRT does support it).
Also there are some functions in GSB that you need to get into PRT if you want to import GSB-strategies. In my opinion it is far to much work to
translate all that into PRT.
And lastly. The PRT easylanguage missing a lot of functionality that you have in the original easylanguge that you get in TradeStation. PRT call their
language easylanguage, but it is only a smaller part of the real language.
I was in your situation, (I think), but I ended up signing up for a TradeStation broker account in the end. TradeStation are not easy to have to deal
with for non americans, but their product is good.

I would have liked to be able to use IB with tradingsytem created with GSB, but I think it's complicated
I am not familiar with ProRealtime, but extremely familiar with IB.
99% of my trading has been done at IB for the last 15 years or so.
I spent a years programing time on a custom TS to IB solution.
Reasons for this is I trade while I'm asleep, and have high volumes of contracts, so the risk of a screwup is very expensive.
This cant be released for all sorts of reason. Legal risk and support is high & mission critical. Ninjatrader or tradebullet are simple options.
Trading at TS is even simpler, fast and reliable.
However for me, IB had many more plus's that made it the clear choice for me.
Execution is outside the scope of GSB, however other users may, and I am happy to give what tips I can.
