GSB COURSES AND OR ONE ON ONE TUITION.

Over time there will be third party's who will do paid courses on GSB.
This should help people get up to speed faster.
Some GSB users don't have a lot of TS/MC / trading experience and this is going to slow them down, and slow down the speed of GSB development. Hence a course aimed at these people would also be good. However one on one tuition is better for the time poor who might know sections of a course.

There also is a need for two levels of one on one tuition.
The lower level is how do I do the basics of GSB.
The higher level is how do I make systems that are profitable, what markets etc
There is a massive world or markets to explore, which is going to get much bigger when GSB has price pattern and other secondary filters.

I have had some interest for courses from time poor users already.
Please give me feed back on this.
I dont want to run or do courses as it will take me away from building, using & supporting GSB.
But some of the user base might be. Another option is I can hire a support for paid one on one tuition.
My documentation will get better over time though it is a bit lagging on the Betas.
The last WF video was a must see though.

A course might be helpful. It is taking me a lot of time and energy to.lean TS and GSB I haven't even got to trading yet

I would appreciate it if basic help comes directly with GSB, no separate documents and updated with a new version. A good concise explanation of the parameters and the different values. This should be part of the software. The documentation is now too limited. Supplement with video is fine. Optional courses are fine.

I would like a course that where a little more advanced and mostly focused on GSB.

For example what the different settings actually do and how they affect the development of strategies. Also how to experiment with different indicators, entries, exits, stops and take profits.

It would be useful with an introduction how to import data from TS, setting the contracts information. And then after a strategy is developed how to import it to TS and get the same results in TS as in GSB. There are plenty of videos and courses how to use TS so that is not interesting.
I guess the TS part could be done with a video. The previous ones have been excellent.

I sympathize with the time zone issues. Thanks for the nice commends on the videos.

The quick start guide goes over basic settings. Also the quick start video. I acknowledge that lots more needs to be done as far as documentation and videos. Likely this is going to be helped by marketing partners and 3rd party course providers

When I am testing different custom sessions for a ticker, I use ticker symbols in GSB like CL1500 with MOC time 15:00:00 and CL1445 with MOC time 14:45:00 and so on.

Once I get up to speed on GSB then I may be interested in doing some tutoring / Documentation ect.
I have done a fair bit of tutoring over the years.
If you have others in mind then that's OK.

There is a free GSB course here. Its very light on GSB, and its multicharts focused, and not totally up to date with some changes in GSB over time.

i am just going to say that i would definitely like a course, (Videos are just fine) of the basics of using GSB and how to take it back and forth to TS. I would also say that not only videos on how to use GSB, but also a video from peter on what he looks for etc in a good system would be helpful since clearly he has been at this a lot longer than i have.

This will all happen, though I may end up partnering with other GSB users to do course etc. Some users have nailed some markets I havnt (yet)
Right now there is a lot of really significant stuff in GSB that is likely to change how we do things a fair bit. Right now I am comparing the results of building systems on multi time frames. ie 29 30 31 min bars, vs muti market. Im fascinated what approach will work best. Hope to have an idea later today.

This was a good read. I would have loved to have access to this in the beginning

I have a question about it. How does IQ Feed data compare to the Halifax data (Interactive brokers data)? What I mean is. If i develop strategies in GSB with IQ Feed data, will it have the same results in Halifax autotrading? (In my experience data sources can vary quite a bit)

IQ feed and TS data are good historical and live data. IB data is good live data and poor historical data.
I guess iqfeed 98% the same results as ts. Even ts varies from one computer to another at times, but the variation is small.
I dont know anyone who uses IB as historical data. Execution via Halifax is done via TS data, but IB data can be used for smart orders.
(timed limits, and or oco entries etc

The stresses of using say 29 30 31 min bars are massive compared to TS vs iqfeed
29 30 31 min bars are much more significant as you are using 14,13,12 bars per day which affects/stresses oscillators a fair bit

I've just signed and extremely interested in pursuing this. I'm watching as many videos as possible but finding it difficult to piece everything together. I would definitely be interested in some quick tutoring to get up to speed. I still have some gaps in knowledge around TS and setting up data in GSB and basic methodology with latest version.
Also very interested in IBLINK. Learning pace is far too slow at the moment... How can I fast track all of this!? I'm located in Austalia aest if anyone can assist.

There will be level 1 support, that will be low priced, but the worker is still being trained up.
Level2 support by a very experienced GSB user. Likely USD$75 per hour.
Support by me US$100 an hour, but that price will go up and it will be in limited supply. In Real terms paying for 3 developers / workers + myself doesn't work at this rate. However tech support is free.
IBlink is nor for sale in any format, but any TS code you want to run can be executed via IBlink under a AU/NZ broker at US$14 round turn with no other charges. You can also get a to run a lot of my GSB systems for free at this rate.

level1 likely a few weeks off. The support tech is also updating the documentation, which is very much needed. Thats also going to make your life easier. As GSB is advancing so rapidly, the docs lag. I will arrange for level2 support shortly.

I will contact you about this. Level 2 support is about to go to Greece it seems on holiday. Im on holiday but back Thursday night
