Where would I find the needed contract information like Ticks per Point, Point value,... for a new symbol I want to add to the list Example $OVX.X ?

The best place to go for futures or derivative contracts would be to look up the contract specifications at either the website of the exchange for the
contract (e.g CME) or in another trading platform that already contains the information (e.g. MC, NT, TS). In the case of stocks/shares/indices and
other non-derivative or non-leveraged instruments, there is no leverage involved and so you can generally assume that 1 point = 1.00 in the underlying
asset currency and that the minimum move is some denomination of the underlying currency - usually .01. Now, I am not 100% sure for things like
certain Asian markets, but for things like US, Europe, etc., you can safely assume that.
So, to use the example of the $OVX.X, the "point value" (or, to put it another way - the value of a whole number movement up or down) is $1.00 and the
minimum move (tick) is $.01, and so there are 100 "ticks per point". Likewise, the "digits" (number of decimal places) would be "2" and the currency
would be USD (though I am not sure GSB does anything with currency or exchange rate at this point, at least not for anything other than currency).
On the other hand, the ES futures contract moves in minimum increments of .25 and each move is worth $12.50, so each whole 1 point move is worth $50,
for example.
The column header labels are generally geared toward futures traders, so I can understand how it may be a little foreign if you're not familiar with
it.
Hopefully that helps-avatartrader - 12-12-2018 at 12:11 AM
Here is a screenshot of my contracts list so you can see how I have been building and organizing mine.
